The German-American Society of Utah and the German Chorus Harmonie are pleased to introduce our new music director, Beatrice Bergér. Beatrice has conducted choirs and taught voice students professionally in Europe and the U.S. for almost 30 years while maintaining an intense career as a soloist in many prestigious theaters and concert halls in Europe, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem. She began her professional activity as a choir director in Germany in 1992. Groups she's directed have varied from children, youth, women, men, disabled, to mixed choirs. Some of these have continued under her direction for over 10 years. In Spring 2015 Beatrice relocated from Trier, Germany, to Salt Lake City with her husband and two children. Now Beatrice primarily operates a private studio, ‘BeeVocals,’ in the 9th and 9th area of Salt Lake. In 2015 and 2016 BeeVocals was awarded the Thumbtack Best Voice Teacher of Salt Lake. She also teaches students at the London Studios in Holladay and remains a vocal instructor and coordinator at the Karl-Berg Music School of the City of Trier (Germany) via internet. She holds Masters degrees in vocal performance and in voice instruction, with minors in piano and conducting.
