The German American Society of Utah presents a spring concert, "Die Forelle," Saturday, May 11th, 7:30 pm at Zion Lutheran Church, 1070 S. Foothill Dr. Come and enjoy the sounds of spring performed by the German Chorus Harmonie and special musical guests.

Come enjoy a traditional German lunch followed by some holiday entertainment that’s sure to help bring in the spirit of the season! The dinner costs $10 for general admission, and $7 for members of the German American Society. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
Sunday, November 18, 2018 is Volkstraurertag, the German National Day of Mourning. Join us at 10:00 am at Fort Douglas Military Cemetery as we pay tribute to the German prisoners of war who died in Utah. This event, which includes speakers, a wreath laying ceremony, and music from the German Chorus Harmonie, is sponsored by the German Consul’s Office. This is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.

In celebration of Johann Sebastian Bach’s 333rd birthday, we present a concert featuring solo and ensemble performances of his most popular compositions. Works will be performed by the German American Society with various soloists under the direction of Jane Fjelsted and Great Basin Baroque directed by Loren Carle. The concert will be followed by an hors d'oeuvre reception. This is a free event with a suggested donation of $15.
